CNN ^ | December 12th

One of Zimbabwe's top officials blamed his country's spreading cholera outbreak on what he calls "a genocidal onslaught" by Zimbabwe's former colonial ruler -- Britain.

"Cholera is a calculated, racist attack on Zimbabwe by the unrepentant former colonial power, which has enlisted support from its American and Western allies so that they can invade the country," Information Minister Sikhanyiso Ndlovu told reporters. Britain ruled the country as a colony until 1965.

Ndlovu's claims triggered quick and pointed reaction from Britain and the United States.

This guy repeatedly blames america, but CNN doesn't seem to bite on it that I'm seeing. Bush is only mentioned once; and in the paragraph directly below that is this:

=========Ndlovu also slammed news outlets including CNN for what he called "gunboat journalism."==========

No wonder CNN didn't go along with it, he pointed the finger directly at them!

And on top of that, he channeled limbaugh! ROFL Gunboat journalism - drive by media

If this “Imperialist Cholera Conspiracy” pitch is any indication, Sikhanyiso Ndlovu has a real career opportunity as a Democratic Party campaign spokesman.

In any case, somehow I think that there are a few million starving Zimbabweans rolling their eyes over this latest bit of theatrics. This whole Mugabe regime will inevitably and soon collapse like a house of cards. All it needs is someone with some $$$$ backing and a solid organization. I have a funny feeling that Mugabe’s personal jet is fully fueled and on 5-minute stand-by as I write this.

Mr. Ndlovu, how about building a functioning infrastructure that can deliver treated water and perhaps dispatching aid workers to villages to teach them better personal hygiene and how to clean their water supplies.
(Competing for today's longest running sentence.)

The place is a mess—this land has no right to be an independent nation. It should be taken over by another nation, maybe South Africa. Its not worth the live of one US soldier.
