I have bought only US cars for 40 years but if the unions insist on no concessions I will never again buy an American car. The unions have consistantly shut down US companies rather than work for a competitive wage.

This is what will happen to many US companies if the Congress takes away the secret ballot and allows unionization by thugary.

We are still free to buy foreign cars and That may be where I buy my next one, if Obama will let me.

In my local community we had 2 firms leave: dresser pumps and crown cork and seal..why did they leave?? the Union
asked for more benefits & raises when both co’s told them that they would BK them if they agreed..so what happened?
every one of the Union jobs were lost and co’s moved.
Those guys still cry about the great health care and salary that they lost.they were making $20/hr and great benefits as they all now say, but the union would not give even a little.

I’m younger than yourself, but I have only bought “American” Cars. I will never do so again if they get bailed out.

Planning on purchase in April. Ditto that! Never again. I hate to be put in that position, but I will never buy another UAW car again!
