President-elect Obama says he plans to use all three of his names when he takes the oath of office in January, giving voice to a name that was used heard during the campaign except by critics.
In his first post-election newspaper interview, with reporters from the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times, Obama was asked: “Do you anticipate being sworn in as Barack Obama or Barack Hussein Obama?"
He replied: “I think the tradition is that they use all three names, and I will follow the tradition, not trying to make a statement one way or the other. I'll do what everybody else does.”
Just another very interesting take. Could not use his name during the primary or general elections “off limits” but its a proud name now.
That’s a very racist and islamophobic decision by Barry!
Imagine that. I was figuring he would just go by HO, being somewhat consistent with the season and his background.
Does this mean he’s a racist now?
This IS an interesting turn of events.
A name that brought spittle-laced screams of RACISM whenever it was uttered by Republicans is now suddenly OK to utter during the inauguration.

So, when will it be announced that Rev. Wright will do the swearing in and the holy book of choice will be the Koran?

Good. There are too many credible areas to criticize Sen. Obama on for people to worry about his name . . . something that he didn’t even control.
Maya Angelou is a great poet and writer, her politics aside.
I for one will not be surprised if rev wrong is present on the stage with Barry at inauguration. I wonder will Mickey be dressed as a tart again or wearing a burka or maybe just a head scarf?
This story has the potential to make a large swath of the conservative base look like total lunatics. I hope World Net Daily is on the story.
I wonder how many people who voted for O know his middle name, since the media couldn’t/wouldn’t mention it.

I think that having a President who was a Muslim (a death cultist) would matter.
So having a President who has a Muslim name and no, repeat no verifiable history would matter too.
I bet some of his supporters will be surprised just as those Obama supporters in that documentary were when they were told that Obama thinks that there are 57 states. His supporters are so fanatical that they practically dismissed the fact that is middle name was Hussein as Right Wing propaganda as they so often did with other inconvenient facts.
Appears that you have no doubts about the large swath of the conservative base look’ing’ like total lunatics. Why not respond to the reality of the Left’s hyper sensitivity of the use of ‘Hussein’ his real middle name? Rudely I say.
