Does anyone seriously believe a court is going to try to bar from office the candidate chosen as president by a clear majority of voters? What do these zealots want, civil disorder?

So the Rocky Mountain News endorses mob rule. And makes it sound like civil disorder is a worse alternative than unchallenged sedition and subversion of our Constitution. Yet let a Christian group try to sing carols in a city holiday parade and we see the liberal supporters of the Constitution out in full force to stop them.

I feel the same. But I do listen. However when Laura starts screaming about the Constitution I just roll my eyes.

When the fairness doctrine raises its ugly head, and it will, when laura et al start screaming for us to contact our representatives, I am going to send them an email that will basically tell them to suck it up. Where were you when we needed you before the electors met and voted.

Don’t get me wrong I love to listen to them, but they show no courage at all. Part of being a Patriot and defender of the republic requires sacrifice and being open to ridicule. These people have none of that. It is easier to play it safe.

I have seen more courage here on FR than I have ever seen from these talk show hosts.

  We have disorder in government. The U.S. Constitution is all we have left and following the Constitution gives us a constitutional republic. Not following the Constitution leads to mob rule rather than the rule of law.

Well put. McCain addressed his Constitutional eligibility issues last spring by releasing his birth certificate publicly in the U.S. Congress. Obama, meanwhile, has devoted considerable legal expense during the past six months to ensuring that no one can access his birth certificate. It’s pretty clear that the President-elect doesn’t feel that the release is in his best interest, and every American who cast his/her vote for Obama ought to wonder why. Maybe he’s concerned about identity theft? Not very darn likely!

TRANSPARENCY, Obama, T-R-A-N-S-P-A-R-E-N-C-Y...You tossed the word around freely during your campaign, but it’s clear now that you believe openness and transparency in government should apply to everyone EXCEPT YOU. Hillary needed to be careful, as she didn't really need to have a campaign that caused folks to look into past criminality on her part.

McCain didn't want to go 'dirty'. You could have handed him proof that Obama had sold his soul to the devil, and he would have ignored it.

The problem might be one of cognitive dissonance. You can't treat Obama as the loyal opposition and a total fraud at the same time.

Or it might just be a big enough lie. Tell a big enough lie and folks just won't believe it's a lie.

One thing neither party seems to believe in anymore is the rule of law. So little nits, like not being constitutional qualified for the position, can be ignored.

If Obama was truly an American he’d step forward with his original birth certificate even if it was issued in Kenya and claim to be a natural born citizen and fight to define that term by legal means.

If Obama wanted the best for our country he’d prove his allegiance to it’s constitution and it’s government by proving beyond the shadow of any doubt he loves it and is qualified legally and morally to lead it, all he has to do is show his original vault copy birth certificate and not some 2007 copy either forged or issued just for his campaign purposes and seen only on the internet in the form of JPGs on site he has direct or indirect control over.

No one save for those he has granted a special audience to has actually touched the 2007 copy of his Certification of Live Birth, it has never been inspected verified or even matched against his original vault copy by competent legal document professional investigators.

Unlike the records of George W. Bush and John McCain that have been scrutinized to the Nth degree for even the slightest fault or foul up that can be exploited in the press for weeks and months and years past the sort of news cycles we keep hearing referred to.

Barack Obama can end this easily, all he has to do is what the media has asked of his predecessor and his opponent, a full and complete disclosure of his records.

Nothing less is acceptable to us Tin Foil Hat Brigadiers.

Ummm..., the “pattern” has already been established to deal with any “creative” plans... :-)

If anyone releases something that purports to be the Obama birth certificate, the State of Hawaii can very officially and assertively say that they have not released it and therefore anything that is “out there” (wherever it is being “exposed”) is *definitely* not an official copy.

The Obama Administration (which it will be by the time anyone “gets creative”) will then say, “It’s obvious that this is a forgery and a fraud since the State of Hawaii has affirmed that they have not released a certified copy and I have not authorized a release of such a document.”

And then, all the Obama bloggers and Obots will go online and drum up how the extreme right wing of the Republican Party is so upset with the legitimate election of the first black man in the White House, that they are resorting to extreme tin-foil-hat measures to try and discredit him.

So, you can actually put out a document that can never be used in a court of law, being that it’s not authorized and it’s not certified and it can be discredited just as easily as this whole issue is discredited right now...
