Although it’s not mentioned in this article, Chinese “hospitals” like this provide ready sources for organs which have been sold at exorbitant prices to foreigners needing a healthy spleen, eye, heart, lung, you name it.

Some of those harvest organs are reportedly not healthy. I read a news feature article in S. Korea a year or two ago, which said that some S. Koreans went to China to get transplant operations. Upon their return, they found out that the transplanted organ was diseased or contaminated. They died a short while later. It was not a rejection problem. The organs were patently substandard.
