Either they are liars or they don’t know what they are talking about. Hawaii didn’t verify the birth certificate.

It’s not a good sign that the MSM is finally covering this story. I suspect they expect the SCOTUS to announce tomorrow that they’re not taking the case.

The Muslim Messiah’s Gestapo will attempt to stop any exposure via blogs on the Internet. Freedom of Speech will be their first target, IMO. Freepers will be high on their list.

Nyhan co-authored a study this year that said journalists' attempts to correct misinformation is unlikely to sway public perceptions because many people want to believe the misperception. Journalists attempt to correct misinformation???? LOL, that is a good one! I needed a good laugh.

If the media wants an interesting story they should ask Zero if his pride is more important than global stability.

I am beginning to suspect Obama is a natural-born citizen, and that his birth certificate will confirm this....but it will reveal something else Obama doesn’t want known.
That is the only possible explanation.

"...that said journalists' attempts to correct misinformation is unlikely to sway public perceptions because many people want to believe the misperception..."
Journalist's attempts to correct misinformation?????
Never mind the idiot who wrote this cannot even form grammatically correct sentences (...attempts to correct misinformation is ARE unlikely...)
These are the morons who think they deliver accurate and unbiased "news" to the proles.

Five weeks after the state of Hawaii vouched for the authenticity of President-elect Barack Obama's birth certificate, the controversy over allegations that Obama is not eligible to take office next month has reached the Supreme Court,An honest, but MEANINGLESS statement since you can have an "authentic" Hawaiian birth certificate that states that you are absolutely NOT a "natural born citizen"

The fight is unusual because it thrives outside the so-called mainstream media, far beyond the oak-paneled offices of $700-an-hour lawyers and a world away from the 535 individuals whose surnames are preceded by Representative or Senator. This time, America wants to see it.

” On mainstream talk radio, it’s not a big deal right now. I think it’s run its course.”
Limbaugh , Hannity, Ingraham and Levin et al have refused to touch this ,
so apparently “ it’s not a big deal now.”
Even to neutrally state x,y and z lawsuits have been filed alleging thus and so.
The crowd that looooves to talk about the Constitution could have interesting
and enlightening discussions on the Constitution-
without actually taking a stand
and offending Barry.
Instead they prefer to focus on global warming ,Ruth Chris steaks and pajamagrams.

Five weeks after the state of Hawaii vouched for the authenticity of President-elect Barack Obama's birth certificateWhy is this misrepresentation of what Hawaii health officials said repeated so often? No Hawaiian offical has ever vouched for the authenticity of the birth certificate Obama provided via the web in June.

"There is less of a sense that we all have a common set of facts we can agree on. There's a polarization and we can't even agree on the basic factual assumptions to have a debate."
This is because of the leftward tilt of the media. We can't trust them, because they wouldn't have reported this mess if it weren't for the Internet. It will be interesting to see if Fox does anything on this story tomorrow.
