President-elect Barack Obama is "feigning" a centrist position on some issues so he can ultimately push through a radical agenda, including universal healthcare and trimming the military, according to analysis by a founder of the Weathermen terror group, Mark Rudd, who has ties to Obama mentors.
Another top former Weathermen terrorist with ties to Obama mentors, Jeff Jones, concurred the president-elect will attempt major change, including "redistributing financial resources downward." He called Obama's "centrist" appointments a "smokescreen" to "co-opt the moderate center," declaring, "even Lenin would be impressed!"
In an article on the radical leftist Rag Blog, Rudd commented, "Obama plays basketball. I'm not much of an athlete, barely know the game, but one thing I do know is that you have to be able to look like you're doing one thing but do another. That's why all these conservative appointments are important: the strategy is feint to the right, move left. Any other strategy invites sure defeat. It would be stupid to do otherwise in this environment."

I understand your dark humor here, but it is really no laughing matter.
These politicians leave the job of reading thousands of pages of legislation up to their aides and we have no assurances that they are competent at their jobs or that they are even true conservatives. Very scary.
I agree but what’s even scarier is who they let do the writing of the legislation they don’t read.
In addition I have proposed that all legislative personnel, aids, chief of staff be from Universities in the state they are elected from and be residents of said state. I’m tired of them hiring liberals from Harvard, Princeton, Yale and not making sure they are core conservatives. They only represent themselves in most cases.
We can do our part.
The down economy has made 0bama announce that many of his more radical socialist plans would have to wait.

Excellent points in both of your posts. Very,very scary. The lobbysts write most of the bills and then the aides, from god knows where and with what ‘loyalties’, ‘review’ them. It is wonder sometimes that our republic has survived this long.
I get a kick out of the left shrilling loudly about how The Obamunist will end the war in Iraq. The war has already been won; it HAS ended for all practical purposes. The Iraqi government has signed the parameters for U.S. troop withdrawals, which will begin shortly (with the last troops being out in 2011, and those will not be combat troops, the combat troops having been withdrawn earlier).
Make no mistake about it: The left will proclaim that The Obamunist won the war, when in fact it had been won before he ever took office.

Just like this whole financial crisis can be laid at the feet of the democrats, yet the media never reports the causes and facilitates the blame being put on republicans. We live in very dangerous times, especially with this amount of corruption in the American media.

The depth of my contempt for the media cannot go any deeper. There was a time in my life (I am in my late 50s) when the media was at least somewhat evenhanded. Though the media have always had a leftward bias, reporters and journalists — particularly of the print media — rightfully saw that expressing their bias would necessarily discredit their profession, and make them appear as nothing more than partisan hacks without any credibility whatsoever; which, in those days, would have spelled doom to their careers. That all started to change in the late 1960s, and by the 1990s the change was firmly entrenched, and within a couple years it was complete.
The only time I look at a newspaper today is for the weather report (the temps, not any narratives), and the football scores (again, for the scores themselves, and not the narratives).
Mark Rudd's website says that his commitment to “fighting U.S imperialism” was inspired by the revolutionary movement in Cuba, which at that time was in its ninth year. In 1968, Rudd and Bernardine Dohrn and other leaders of SDS were invited to Cuba to meet with Cuban and North Vietnamese delegates. His experiences in Cuba strengthened Rudd’s anti-war and pro-Communist sentiments. Rudd had described the life of Cuba as “extremely humanistic” and he idealized Ernesto "Che" Guevara, referring to him as the “Heroic Guerilla.”... Rudd felt that SDS was not doing enough ... The 1969 SDS convention effectively splintered and ended the organization, with Rudd and other members> of the RYM ultimately forming Weatherman, a self-proclaimed "organization of communist women and men" intent on overthrowing the government through violent action. Spreading communism was a priority for the members of Weather, as when Rudd told other members of SDS, “Don’t be timid about telling people we’re Communist. Don’t deny it, be proud of it.”

Dittos. I am fast approaching the big 50 and also have never seen it this bad. The European media has managed to ‘vet’ Obama more than the American media! That is truly stunning when you think about it....lol.
I subscribe to the Wall Street Journal only and even they can get on my nerves from time to time. Investor’s Business Daily has done some great reporting, so I will probably be subscribing to their paper soon. There are a few others that we should all support, like the Washington Times, etc....but not many are left anymore that are not corrupt.
