I think the results of the election proved that this is, in fact, the case.
That's called a rhetorical question. I was commenting on a statement you made about McCain. But, here's a rhetorical answer, : McCain/GWB gave us Obama Pelosi and now he will cross sides again to help them.

No. He reflects the values of the majority of American voters.
It is no secret that the country has drifted left. It is sad conservatives still do not understand that fact.
They will continue to scramble around for "other" reasons -- all the while ignoring the big elephant in the room.
