Rendell is very intelligent and a relatively good politician. I don’t agree with a lot of things he’s done, but he’s a very competent manager. He gets himself in trouble because he calls things as he sees them then takes flak from the PC members of his own party and media. He was the best major Philadelphia had had in decades.
Lots of people can be good at what they do but that doesn’t change the fact they are jerks.
