Not a single certifier of elections, the person whose job is to check eligiblity and birth certificates, has brought suit against Obama. And none will. They were apparently satisfied with the proof of birth he presented
Forgive me if I got your attitude wrong. It appears to be very defeatist — very “sunshine patriot.” Despair, cowardice, nay-saying, Tokyo-Rose-ing — that is what you are apparently doing.
Your link does not lead to this person’s comments.
The legalities provide for the Donofrio’s case in terms of both standing and merit, or it would not have been picked up for conference by the entire court.
The Donofrio contention about “natural born citizen” is accurate, according to the intellectually honest interpretation of the Constitution.
Call the SCOTUS dishonest before the fact of their decision if you choose.
Cease and desist, from fatalistically bemoaning the efforts of those who fight for constitutional reality.
In the end conservatism will win, but not if we waste all our time and energy on losing candidates and losing battles. THAT is the very essence of defeatism.
I take great comfort in knowing most conservatives have common sense and do not stand behind you on this one. Neither do most conservative leaders. Very few will get behind this effort, and there will be absolutely no push for it on talk radio. But please continue in your delusion that time and energy spent on efforts that are obviously losing battles with no chance whatsoever of success, somehow advances the cause of conservatism and it's ultimate victory.
Amen to that.
That is presumptuous and perverse -- and worthy of a troll. Your silly psyops will not work here.
A conservative seeks to conserve the Constitution, even if it is costly (and even if the chance is remote, which this is not).
You, on the other hand, I do not know in FR.
Learn the Constitution.
I am really curious if you ever thought it was a good idea to pursue impeaching Clinton.
I mean, that made us Conservatives "look bad", right?
We were unfairly painted as mean spirited and petty and all into the sex, so following your logic, that was obviously the wrong fight as well...
maybe you got on board with that issue when the fight got "winnable"?
maybe you felt we shouldn't have pushed so hard,
it was only lieing under oath anyways, ...
hey, thats seems kinda like the same thing that we are dealing with now...
at least you are willing to fight to be deafitist
;)
You will be wrong.
If te 1% chance coms out in your favor and this case goes forward, there is a 99% chance the Supreme Court will rule against these Plaintiffs. Once again you will say they failed to do their constitutional duty.
Once again, you will be wrong.
Learn intellectual honesty. Learn what words mean. Learn character. It counts.
Why in the world did you ever start posting in FR?
To try to talk a little sense into idiots. Now go away.
You know better than Blackstone or than the many Constitutional scholars that have explained "natural born citizen" in Article 2 from the time it was written, onward. They are idiots.
Ad hominem is the failing attempt at an argument by someone who has no other.
Excuse me! You are the one who started questioning my character for no better reason than I disagree with you. You apparently have no trouble dishing things out, but a lot of trouble when it comes back at you.
I never throw the first insult!
You and this TAdams8591 are attempting to attack the good purposes and weaken the motivations of patriots who are defending the Constitution.
You are in the wrong and your character may be shown as a result of the fruits of your behavior. I did not directly insult you. I told you that you need to learn more.
So, learn.
You do understand that as of this date no less than six highly accomplished federal judges disagree with you. Are none of them patriots? Are they all part of some vast left wing conspiracy to put an ineligible person in office? Because I cite settles law as to standing, I am attacking good people? If Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito end up agreeing with m, are they all part of this conspiracy or they just constitutionally ignorant?
You are starting to sound like the Al Gore maniacs of 2000.
I do not think the law would be violated if the hospital said that someone was never a patient during a certain time frame. If one was never a patient, then there is nothing to release. The hospitals should have a few canned responses; they could say that they do not release that information, or they could say that the person was never a patient. If that person was a patient, they would not comment. The “no comment” cannot be construed to be an admission that they were not there.
Here’s my take on all this - Obama is hiding something that is personally very embarrassing. There are several possibilities; one of those is the birth certificate shows that the father is unknown, and he was adopted by Barack Senior. The certificate that has been shown on the internet looks like the certificate of an adopted child - like a car title.
Maybe you should run for the Senate CC; I think you would fit in.
There is absolutely no precedent for, by natural and national law, a citizen born of another nation to be U.S. President, since that is against the Constitution.
And not sixty, but absolutely no judges have ruled on the matter in favor of a man born as such into the citizenship of United Kingdom.
Words mean things, even when they’re in the Consitution.
You also seem to be confusing citizen with natural born citizen. If the framers meant only “citizen” there would be no purpose for that clause in Article 2.
ya'see it's obama that has left the obvious shadow of doubt...
not sure why any Freeper would be AGAINST asking for a simple requirement in the Constitution to be observed...just seems so obvious...
there has been no ultimate ruling on these cases, and all some here are doing is saying: stop asking, it makes us look bad...
it's really quite sad and pathetic, we get this type of reasoning on FR...must be the GOP version of the PUMAs.
