I thought they flooded every winter. Not like this. This flood was caused by massive storms in the Adriatic Sea. Sort of like the 100-year and 500-year floods we get here.
Venice is sinking anyway.
Not anymore. They finally figured out that the fresh water being pumped for the mainland was coming from underneath of it, so Italy went to a different source.
