Still haven’t read a word of his works or life and times, have you?

Keep smiling.

You are surly experiencing maximal bliss. Read Keynes. Then pick a longish paragraph that contains a premise and a conclusion and explain how he got from the one to the other.

I am very familiar with the life (gay poser) and works of JMK, and nobody is smiling. Having been sold a bill of goods for several generations, we are now forced to pay his "long run" piper's bill. The experiment is coming to an end, and history will finally write that Keynes sold snake oil to gullible politicians who wanted their cake and to eat it too, now, and let the grandkids worry later.

Now, it's later. The Austrians will be the last standing, in the economic wreckage of Keynes's long run.

"There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as a result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved."
