WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- British officials say they were checking out the possibility that at least two British citizens were involved in the Mumbai terror attacks.

Meanwhile, counter-terrorism officials in Europe, the United States and India said the terrorists likely included Islamist networks based in Pakistan -- and may have received support in the past from Pakistan's intelligence agencies, The Washington Post (NYSE:WPO) reported Friday.

A year or two ago a poll was conducted in the UK of moslems living there.This poll showed,among other things,that 33% approved of the London Underground attacks of a few years ago and 50% approved on 9/11.For this reason...and *only* this reason...I think that all Brits should have to apply, in advance,for a visa to enter this country.

Implicit in this article is the erroneous meme that these, or other terrorists for that matter, are acting out of some interest that is rooted in their nation of origin.

Why is it so difficult to understand that these terrorists are acting out as a result of their religious affiliation and that any connection to a sovereign nation is purely circumstantial and irrelevant?

These terrorists are acting on behalf of Islam, not on behalf or at the behest of Britain, or any other nation.
