This is War [Flashback, 9-13-2001]
national review ^ | Ann Coulter

Posted on 11/28/2008 8:03:41 AM PST by jessduntno

"We don't need long investigations of the forensic evidence to determine with scientific accuracy the person or persons who ordered this specific attack. We don't need an "international coalition." We don't need a study on "terrorism." We certainly didn't need a congressional resolution condemning the attack this week.

We are so good and so pure we would never engage in discriminatory racial or "religious" profiling.

People who want our country destroyed live here, work for our airlines, and are submitted to the exact same airport shakedown as a lumberman from Idaho.

"All of our lives" don't need to change, as they keep prattling on TV. Every single time there is a terrorist attack — or a plane crashes because of pilot error — Americans allow their rights to be contracted for no purpose whatsoever.

The airport kabuki theater of magnetometers, asinine questions about whether passengers "packed their own bags," and the hostile, lumpen mesomorphs ripping open our luggage somehow allowed over a dozen armed hijackers to board four American planes almost simultaneously on Bloody Tuesday. (Did those fabulous security procedures stop a single hijacker anyplace in America that day?)

Airports scrupulously apply the same laughably ineffective airport harassment to Suzy Chapstick as to Muslim hijackers. It is preposterous to assume every passenger is a potential crazed homicidal maniac. We know who the homicidal maniacs are. They are the ones cheering and dancing right now.

We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war." -Ann Coulter

It’s ok, The Messiah is going to make them all love us again.

So many of my co-workers in the CA nuclear power plant where I work (i think they are more conservative than the average californian) will not read Ann Coulter because ... well because of various reasons, but mostly “strident” and “bitchy” and “ultra-conservative” and “hate speach” are the adjectives they use. They say she is an entertainer and only in it for the money, and that she says things to get a reaction and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

I use different adjectives to describe her. She is intelligent, witty, tough, and beautiful. Anyone who can put up with the treatment she receives on Cable TV news/commentary shows must be patient and tolerant, too. She was raised in a family with lots siblings, where political discourse and independent thought were encouraged. She is a constitutional law scholar, with a depth of understanding beyond Dershowitz or other legal minds who learn the constitution in order to pervert, subvert and circumvent it. (Anyone specific come to mind at this point?)

Like some threads here at Free Republic, this one is not complete without photos. Sadly, I do not remember how to post one just now. Perhaps I will give it a try after breakfast.

Once again, America needs a lesson in the truth, employing a little elementary logic:

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all the terrorists are Muslim.

Stop harassing little old grannies and start paying careful attention to more appropriate demographics. The ACLU be damned!

"So what?"

Real simple: asinine questions about whether passengers "packed their own bags" They don't do this anymore (in the U.S.). So I began to wonder what else might be wrong, until I noticed the date.

Coulter on Gore: "I hear he has a small carbon footprint. You know what they say about men with a small carbon footprint. Mind you, at 400 pounds he probably can't see any footprint."

On John Edwards: "I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word faggot."

On Barack Obama: "I refer to him as B. Hussein Obama. He's half white and half black, half Christian and half Muslim and half atheist. Something there for every Democrat."

On Bill Clinton: "He was called the first black president. Obama might be half black and half white. Bill was half white and half trash."

On Hillary Clinton: "Hillary has already started to put together her White House team. It has to be diverse. It has to have blacks and whites and men and women. All sorts of women as long as they aren't called Monica."

I think I am getting the hang of this!
