Terrorists Were In Touch With Karachi Via Satphones

According to highly reliable intelligence sources, two boatfuls of weapons and some 18-20 terrorists most likely came from Karachi in Pakistan. Intelligence agencies are zeroing in on the Lashkar-e-Tayiba as the agency behind the terror attacks.

The initial interrogation of terrorists captured in Mumbai has yielded some basic information. According to sources, for some time the directions kept coming "live" to the terrorists in Mumbai via satellite phones.

The intelligence sources said information is coming out quite rapidly because some six terrorists, who are in the custody of the Mumbai police, are under interrogation right now. He said the entire operation was led by Pakistani operators of the LeT but he doesn't rule out the involvement of some local youngsters in it.

"They are successful and we have failed," said the police officer with the agency. He said these attacks show that "the terrorists want to show that India is an unsafe place to do business in. The way they have focused on foreigners, they want to make Mumbai unattractive for foreign nationals."

Who has the most to gain with a war between India and Pakistan?

Look to the Northeast of India, just on the other side of Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.

I sure hope they didn’t mistreat them when they interrogated them. [/sarc]

There is a deep seated hatred between India and Pakistan...this could result in all out war--Pakistan could nuke a major Indian city, with Indian returning the favor...in the meantime, Al Qaeda carries out whatever evil plans they have for the Middle East and America while the world is distracted...

I think I'm going back to my Bible and review Armageddon. :*(

Not really....
If a Pak-India War goes nuclear, it’s China’s most productive farmlands in Central and Western China that get irradiated by fallout.

Yes, I believe AQ and Iran may be working in tandem now (and probably have been all along).

Act of War.

Imagine if these Pakistani terrorist had acquired one of the Pakistani nuclear weapons. They would have drove that large fishing boat right into the Mumbai docks.

The Chinese seem to have a thing for toxic food.

Hopefully, the Indians don't have the equivalent of the sniveling liberals we have in power.

I was watching this live over a stream from an Indian news channel. Several times they showed one of the terrs standing at a window talking on a telephone. I told my wife that it looked like he was using a sat phone.

This might have been what they were showing. The coverage was all in English by the way. Live streamed over the internet.
