I tell you what-I believe it can be done, though I'm not sure how, but offering any real and effective opposition to the coming socialist state is going to be tough going, when the left has a lock on the media and education, and now government and soon the judiciary. I almost believe that things will have to come to a drastic point-such as people drawing a line in the sand over the robbing of their Second Amendment rights-before we can actually do anything meaningful. We're not organised, people won't even make the token sacrifice of boycotting all MSM, it's too much of an inconvenience. When people won't even tolerate inconvenience, how will they ever make real sacrifices until their backs are against the wall? I think petitions and such are a joke at this point, our own Republican leadership ignores them, the 'rats will laugh before dumping them in the trash.

What needs to be done is: 1. Press the SCOTUS to hear the BC cases. 2. Get the GOP back in line. use your money, time, influence to clean up the snake pit. 3. Nominate and elect conservatives. 4. Repeat #3. Don't make me and those who are willing to fight to drag you and your sorry lot into a free country. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem and last time I checked FReepers were all about being part of the solution!

I love the positive attitude. Too many of us seem to be in a defeatist mode. A defeatist attitude will result in nothing but defeat. I personally will not give up. I, as all military personnel, gave an oath to “Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC”. I will continue to defend our Constitutional Republic so that my grandchildren can enjoy the same freedoms that have been afforded to me.

What is the worst that can happen to us that don’t give up? We will be eliminated? Big deal, at least I can have engraved on my tombstone the words “I tried” so my grandchildren will know I did not quit. Our hope lies in the fact that most Americans are still right of center as was demonstrated in the Propositions that were approved by the voters in California and Florida.
