WASHINGTON - Prompted by the murder of a Latino immigrant in Patchogue, civil rights leaders gathered Monday in Washington, D.C., and denounced Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy, other political leaders and media outlets for fostering intolerance through "immigrant bashing."
Janet Murguía, president of the Latino civil rights organization National Council of La Raza, criticized Levy for pushing an anti-immigration agenda and using derogatory or misleading language in the broader debate about immigration and undocumented immigrants.
"Suffolk County is a particularly good example of elected officials stoking the fires of anti-immigrant sentiment," Murguía said. "For two years we have urged politicians and members of the media to show some restraint in echoing the damaging rhetoric that demonizes our communities."
Levy accused Murguía and other critics of blurring the distinction between legal immigration, which he said he supports, and undocumented residents."It is reprehensible that anyone would suggest that the tens of millions of Americans who favor secure borders are necessarily intolerant or bigoted," Levy said Monday. "Since when is enforcing the law seen as something negative and inflammatory?"

It is patriotic to be anti-illegal-immigrant. It is about wanting a secure country, and secure borders, and keeping American citizens safe. We are for immigration that assimilates people into the American culture, not balkanization of the country by illegal immigrants who have no desire to assimilate and instead want things to change for them.
These are criminals not immigrants that are getting bashed. Immigrants legally enter USA through due process.

Exactly, Levy. And sometimes those who level those reprehensible accusations are Republican politicians (like McCain's buddy Linsday Graham, shown in the video link).

Illegals are slaughtering American citizens as a matter of routine, and the La Raza pukes are silent. There is no difference between La Raza and the other latino hate groups and CAIR, both of which have nothing but enmity toward the United States and the American people.

Since you seem to believe that immigration laws don’t apply to you, I have to ask: what other laws don’t apply to you and yours? It’ll save us some time in the future if we know ahead of time not to expect lawful behavior from you.

I’ve been tracking crimes against ‘immigrants/illegal aliens’.
This is THREE that I know of in 5 years of watching. When the number gets as big as that of the aliens killing us.(THOUSANDS) let me know.
