CALABOZO, Venezuela – The foremen bark out instructions in broken Spanish, saying "aqui" and "mas" as they direct crews to lay water pipes and smooth out cement. But on their lunch break, they switch into Farsi — the language of Iran.

Their Iranian company is building thousands of apartments for Venezuela's poor. Iran is also helping to build cars, tractors and bicycles in Venezuela and has opened new embassies in Bolivia and Nicaragua.

Good luck to Hugo and Imanutjob with this as oil hits $40 a barrel. Both may soon be dead men walking.

When are the mosques going to be built? Maybe they have already been built and it hasn’t been reported.

The Iranian people must feel dandy with Cholera spreading, gas rations and food shortages while all the effort and money of the regime is being flushed in Gaza, Lebanon and Venzuela.

Just wait for the Mullahs starting to convert Islamic operatives within the Latin American slums.

This reminds me of a cartoon I saw many years ago:

It shows a small fish, and right behind it, there’s a larger fish about to eat it, and behind that fish, there’s a much larger fish with it’s mouth open ready to eat that fish, and there’s a huge fish with it’s mouth open ready to eat the larger fish... and behind the huge fish, there’s a swarm of tiny fish.

Iran... Venezuela... Cuba... Somalia...

That’s not what I was thinking, but it sure is an interesting way of seeing it.

How bad must Venezuela be to need Iran to build their apartments, bicycles cars and tractors?
