A friend of mine still has a Serb aunt in Kosovo. She and two other Serb women sell lace goods to buy food for a sort of “meals on wheels” for the old Serbs left in outlying areas. They pay an Albanian to take the food to these old people by taxi. She said that they are afraid to stop, because some of these old people would probably starve to death without these meals.
