As many of you know, Republicans are currently deciding on who they want in leadership at a time when Republicans really need to get the message out.
One position is the House Republican Policy Committee Chair. And it looks like there is a chance for some fresh energy committed to fighting for conservatives.
Congressman Michael Burgess of Texas is running for Policy Chair and really seems committed to getting engaged when it comes to pushing the Republican message. After all the complaints that Republicans would not get in the game the past few years and that we need to get people who will take on the policy fight, this guy seems like a good start.

Call your member of Congress and tell them you want to vote for Burgess for policy chair. Those elections are happening THIS WEEK.

Is Burgess a Solid (R)? Did he vote against the Bailout, did he vote against Medicare Part D, did he vote against NCLBH, Did he vote against Amnesty..?
So far we have Mike Pence-Conference Chair (a Big + but he should have run for Leader!..IMO)
Lundgren (RINO-but fresh blood, and maybe slightly better than Boehner?)-for Minority Leader
Cantor-RINO (Crony Leader) for Whip

Yes, Burgess did vote against them. The dude caught all sorts of flack from the Dallas newspaper for being anti amnesty. He has become a star for voting against the bailout.
Perhaps you should watch the videos the poster put on this thread. It would be easy to see that he was against the bailout.
And Pence seems to be more than happy not to take on Boehner.

Call Republican Congressman in your area and tell them to vote for Burgess for Policy Chair. Politico seems to hint that Republican leadership elections will be early today. So pass this on as soon as you can this morning.
We can’t have the same ole leadership who keeps losing seats to the left/dems.
The videos at the top of this thread show that Burgess is a real deal. I have heard him on the radio. He is sharp.
