The victorious United States Ryder Cup team paid a visit to President George Bush on Monday, who welcomed the players, captain Paul Azinger and a few PGA of America officials to the White House for a personal meeting in the Oval Office.
Might as well have a picture of the team.
I don’t see any flip-flops. Golfers are by nature, gentlemen. They know how to present themselves and act in such situations (John Daly being the obvious exception).
Shame on Mickelson and the others that chose not to attend.
I used to like Phil Mickelson...not any more unless he has a REALLY good reason not to attend!
Mickelson and a few others are playing overseas in European Tour events (European Tour, but playing in Asia). You can judge on your own if that’s a REALLY good reason.
Well, isn't Mickelson's nickname..."Lefty"???
I'm just sayin...
