Jonathan C. Moore, a lawyer for Ms. Brashares. Jonathan C. Moore, of the Peoples Law Office, and an active NLG member, represented activists suing the Chicago Police Department. In February 1979 a federal judge ordered current intelligence files turned over to Moore, with the proviso they not be copied.
However, copies of the Chicago Police Intelligence Units case files on the FALN terrorists were found in an FALN hideout in Milwaukee in April 1980.
The police intelligence documents found in the FALNs Milwaukee hideout included a detailed listing of potential FALN targets in the Chicago area which were being given special police protection and a listing of dates and anniversaries most likely to be commemorated by the FALN with acts of terrorism. Also among the police intelligence files which had found their way from Moores custody in the Peoples Law Office to the fugitive terrorists were profiles of known FALN support groups and of known FALN fugitives William Morales and Oscar Lopez-Rivera, naming known associates. No wonder law enforcement had little success in apprehending the FALN terrorists. To this day our judges have not altered their submissive behavior to the NLG and their comrades....

1974 to 1994 + : (IPS WORKS WITH COMMUNIST FRONT ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD NETWORK TO NEUTRALIZE US INTELLIGENCE - See CNSS, ACLU, NLG, IADL, CPUSA, PLO, IRA) During the past twenty years, the IPS has worked with Communist front organizations in building a network for the neutralization of US intelligence. In 1974, the Fund for Peace established the Center for National Security Studies (CNSS), which has worked closely with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in pursuing political and legal challenges against US intelligence. Staff and leadership for the CNSS have been drawn almost entirely from the IPS and the National Lawyers Guild (NLG); the NLG is the American branch of the Soviet-controlled International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL), operates as a front of the Communist Party, USA, and publicly supports dozens of terrorist groups ranging from the PLO to the Irish Republican Army (IRA). IPS member Morton Halperin became head of the CNSS.7 ------[7 Broken Seals, Op cit., passim; 'Outlaws of Amerika,' report of the Western Goals Foundation, Alexandria, VA, 1982, pp. 51-60, passim.
