A black man from Mississippi has been arrested and accused of sending racist death threats over the Internet to three black students at Louisiana's Nicholls State University.
The FBI in New Orleans said Dyron Hart, 19, was arrested Wednesday. He is accused of sending the messages by way of the students' Facebook accounts. The messages contained racial epithets and death threats and were sent to two black women and a black man at Nicholls State in Thibodaux, La.
The author of those messages cast himself as a white man who intended to kill blacks because Barack Obama was elected president.
Hart told an FBI agent that he sent the messages to "get a reaction," according to the agent's sworn statement.
The criminal complaint was filed in U.S. District Court in New Orleans. U.S. Attorney Jim Letten's office said Hart made his initial court appearance in Biloxi. It was unclear when he would be brought to New Orleans.
Although the case sprang from a probe into messages sent to the three Nicholls State students, the FBI agent's statement said Hart also admitted sending the message to students at other institutions, including LSU, the University of Mississippi and the University of Alabama.
An FBI news release said Hart, if convicted, would face a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
Repeatedly using an obscenity and the N-word, the author of the message threatens to kill more than 3,000 black people in a month because of Obama's election and warns the recipient of a pending attack from "a random white man," according to the agent's affidavit.
Neither Hart nor his family could not be reached for comment. The phone number listed at his home address was not in service.
Colton Brodoux was the name of the person who purportedly sent the messages. "Hart admitted that he created the Colton Brodoux profile on Facebook," the FBI affidavit said. The document details how the FBI traced the messages back to a computer at Hart's Poplarville address in Mississippi.

My, my, my. His EXCUSE was “to get a reaction.” Just what did this slime ball puke THINK the reaction would be? No, that was his EXCUSE once caught. Why, he may even say he did it as a home work assignment to get and judge how people would react to such threats. Again, how would he expect them to react? A “white man” posts racial threats and threats of physical harm and does he expect them to laugh? Of course, he will get off with a slight warning. No hate crime here.

What a joke. We allow the media to fantasize that racism against blacks is a huge problem, when whites are scared silly to be seen as racist. There are so many laws and programs in place to protect and benefit blacks, billions are flowing in that direction every day.
With blacks a mere 10% of the population, we even convinced ourselves it was important to elect a black president.

The sad fact is that a black person is more likely to be killed by a black than a white. Yet, the KKK is the bogeyman. When was the last time a KKK member was convicted of murder?
In fact, according the 2005 FBI Crime Stats, blacks are 7 times more likley to commit homicide than whites.
Blacks comprise 13% of the US population, yet commit 52% of the homicides.

We used to use Dyron as a coolant/lubricant in our Space Shuttle engine nozzle machining process but the EPA said we had to change to something more “green”.

Not really much of a surprise. When I heard about this business it was one of my first suspicions, because we have had so many cases recently of black professors hanging nooses on their own doors, and similar race baiting activities.
Who profited from this “racism” when it hit the news? Obama, of course. It helped energize his brownshirts.

I’m absolutely certain that this story will get picked up by the networks and the wire services and will be every bit as publicized as the idiot who carved the letter “B” on her face.

Some blacks have to have racism. If there is no racism then they have no one to blame but themselves if they fail. It’s a pity, because most blacks are decent, hard-working people. They probably can’t even imagine that there are people out there who are so malignant that they are deliberately sabotaging blacks efforts to succeed.
Where the heck is “reverend” Al? He should be all over this as he was with the Tawanna Brawley case in New York. This is an outrageous threat that should be taken seriously. We must investigate to the point where we can get the rioters out in strength.

I think there are some laws about sending death threats using interstate wires or mails...hence the Fed involvement.
Here's a statement from the school.
The 6-foot-3-inch tall, 350-pound Hart did some practice time on the Nicholls defensive line in the spring, said Sports Information Director Brandon Rizzuto.
Nicholls Athletic Director Rob Bernardi said in a written statement that the university did not recruit Hart, but rather he had decided to enroll there in hopes of earning a spot on the team as a walk-on, or non-scholarship player. The NCAA Clearinghouse did not clear Hart to play because he did not meet academic requirements.
