Satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation; augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
Rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.

I’ve been around plenty of liberals and certainly they are angry, they have great difficulty dealing with facts that don’t support their preconceived notions, they offten are alarmingly ignorant and poorly educated on subjects they feel most strongly about, and they have an irrational belief that “the government” can do a better job of running their lives. They seem unable to process that the government is just people, politicians and civil servants, who are not especially equipped to direct others’ lives.
Oh and one more thing, at least on the East Coast I find liberals to be absolutely mean to the “little people” - waiters, fast food workers, etc.
So this PhD has discovered what we knew all along. A liberal mindset is one of a child that has yet to grow up and understand the real world.
Now, instead of saying “Insanity runs in the family” it can be said that “Insanity runs in the party”.

It is hard to find a liberal who can do anything more than parrot talking points, their knowledge of history, economics and political systems is consistently lacking.
They have been absorbed into the “Media Matrix” way of thinking, from public schools, colleges, movies, sitcoms and “popular” opinion (Democrats GOOD, Republicans EVIL)
When presented with information contrary to their worldview they will enter into cognitive dissonance and will be ANGERED by factual information, no one wants to know that they’re a sucker, so they stay in denial and seek the comfort of the “masses”. People are bombarded with the liberal message, we need to start fighting the mass brainwashing with de-programming, as if we’re bringing people from a cult, which, in essence, we are.
