My question is where the moderate Democrats will go, they can’t all really want half the crap Obama is selling? They bet on 0 failing in doing what he promised.

Apparently, the moderate democrats need a much larger kick in the butt than we previously thought.

An Obama overreach will wake them up, hopefully.

20 years with Rev Wright and his lunatic Anti-American, Jew-Hating rantings didn’t wake them up, maybe the “Civilian Youth Force”, involuntary servitude in schools, the Fairness Doctrine or an assault on the 2nd Amendment will wake them from their slumber.

They still don’t “get” what really happened. Conservatism wasn’t represented in this election. To the extent that conservatives got out the vote, it was a vote against the Obamessiah. You don’t win elections with the campaign slogan “Vote for us. We’re not as bad as the other guys.”

George Bush is the Jimmy Carter of the the American Right. After he is out the Party and the Platform can be rebuilt and strengthened. The first thing that needs to go is this “New Tone” B.S.. You get defeat after defeat if you don’t forcefully answer and attack your critics and defend your allies and your policies.

the clock is running on the rats’...as soon as the One starts implementing policy, his political standing will drop like a rock, and the GOP will be on its way out of the wilderness.

The People's Republic of Maryland elected a good-looking, "cool" young Governor O'Malley in 2006 who had previously created a Democrat sinkhole in the City of Baltimore as its Mayor. He immediately held an unconstitutional gathering of the legislature and rammed through a gargantuanly huge tax increase.

His ratings immediately plummeted lower than Dubya's, within weeks of his election, due to his grasping and lying. Yet he will be re-elected next time. Why?

Because Maryland is majority Democrat; and Democrats believe the Democrat Party is a church, like the Catholic Church, that you belong to for life because your parents and grandparents did — even if you don't understand, believe or practice what it preaches.
