Bush wanted a new tone and gave it to the Dems, who tore him a new one. He didn't believe in our movement, and has left the party a wreckage not seen since Herbert Hoover. The losses the last two cycles have been the result of people's dissatisfaction with him.
“He didn’t believe in our movement, and has left the party a wreckage not seen since Herbert Hoover. “
I disagree.
We are about in the same shape we were in 1976 and 1992.
We are back on our heels but we can bounce back with the right strategy, attitude and ideas.
get our ideas, our grassroots, and develop a winning message and credible candidates ...
and make Obama’s agenda as popular as bad breath..
And let me point out:
A KEY PART OF BOUNCING BACK WILL BE TO REHABILITATE PRESIDENT BUSH’S LEGACY SUFFICIENT TO MAKE CLEAR THAT FUTURE PROBLEMS THAT OBAMA CREATES CANT BE PEGGED ON BUSH. WE CANNOT LET THEM USE BUSH LIKE THE USED HOOVER.
