Give Obama one year in office, and I think those who are so down on Bush now will think a little more highly of him.

An honest rendering of history will show several flaws in Bush’s tenure. But “worst” isn’t a label that should be applied.

Carter, LBJ, Nixon, et al.

Has Congress risen above the 11% approval rating they had around election day?

Meanwhile, the DBM conbtinues to ignore the 800lb. canary in the room - namely, Congress’ historically HIGHER disapproval rating of 91%!!!!

(I can play the same word/number games that they can!!)

who the hell cares? History will be the judge of President Bush. I can tell you he will be kindly judged. Obama on the other hand, what disaster! Elected on the basis of skin color.

And THIS is why we lost...not the party...not the canidate, notthe RINO’s......the MESS that America is now mired in.

The party in office...gets the blame.

The general American public wants calm and hope...not catastrophy after catastrophy on the news....

Every time Bush came on camera...it was to tell me bad stuff....and i like him and voted for him twice...

I think the moment came in 2005 when conservatives to a signficant extent found it useful to agree with liberal reactionaries on Iraq.

From there, some conservatives borrowed the Bush traitor meme on border issues to further annihilate the public persona of President.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is one our greatest Presidents ever. The ever escalating hate numbers for President Bush do nothing but endear me further to him.

If he murdered his political opponents he would be much more politically popular. Putin, Chavez, Castro, and Kim Jong Il are much more popular because they kill those who disagree.

The Bush Hate party going on in America among conservartives and liberals reactionaries is ultimately indicative of cowardice. WE are not asked to fight the war on foreign shores but we are asked to support the leader commanding that war.

WE are too afraid to do this and so we would rather surrender to the global hatred than stand with the President.

The reactionaries have gotten their wish. Obama will be the President and he most assuredly is everything that President Bush is not. The clever efforts to link the two are amusing but will not suffice. Whatever criticisms conservative reactionaries might have legitimately had with President Bush, they will now see an avalance of the problem under the Democratic Congress and now Democratic President they chose to elect by attacking President Bush.

Bush has been the second-best President in our lifetimes.
The only better one was Reagan.

I will appreciate the two excellent supreme court appointments he made, and I wish more of his lower court picks werent stopped by the slow-walking Senate.

But since the media hates him, his PR sucked, and he didnt get the right strategy on Iraq until dec 2006, he’s sucking wind on popularity.

I’m expecting a cottage industry of “Post-Presidential Polling” to begin on January 21 so the MSM can continue to tell us how unpopular GWB is.

We could go on the offensive once in a while... like commissioning a poll of African American’s to find out what percentage want $50,000 or more for reparations.

I’d say 80% would say thats only a good start!

I know I sure disapprove of Bush.

Thanks to his cowardice in failing to defend himself from the traitorous, abortion party's 24/7 onslaught of lies and smears, we now have ourselves a steaming pantload named Barack Hussein Obama as Commander-in-Chief. What a slap in the face.

Thanks, Dubya.

Can’t say he didn’t earn a lot of that. If polled i’d say he has been a disappointment and that I disapprove. He tried hard for amnesty, he presided over amazing spending increases (most under a Republican congress), he worked with Uncle Teddy for NCLB, he signed CFR, etc, etc, etc. He did do some good things but ultimately I cannot say he was a good president. He wasn’t. Of course Obama will make him look like a cross between Washington, Lincoln, and RWR.

1) They compare their own numbers from a different polling company to Gallup numbers historically. Talk about apples to oranges. He’s 27/66 app/disapp for a while now.

2) While 27/66 is bad, its not drastically as bad as they make it out to be at 76%.

3) CNN really is the communist news network.

4) Bush is the past, and his personal favorability rating is still over 50%. People like the guy, just not all the things he’s done.

5) Given how crappy things are going to be over the next 4 years, Obama is going to give Bush a run for his money. REmember, they kept nailing Bush to the wall and brought his ratings down constantly in a time of relative peace and prosperity. It’s a soft disapproval of Bush with yuppies in their corvettes giving him the finger.

When these yuppies lose their jobs under Obama and face double-digit inflation and unemployment, they are going to really hate the guy.
