Since Boner took over the leadership from Tom DeLay on February 3, 2006, Republicans have lost 20% of their seats in the House. That makes the stock market a better investment than John Boner over the past three years.
The numbers are just staggering. It is insane for the Republican to keep John Boner as House GOP leader after these historic back-to-back losses. It is time to STOP THE INSANITY NOW! John Boner cannot lead the Republican party, and so long as he does, it will continue to drift in the wind.
Under Boner, the Republicans have lost the faith of the American people. No longer are they trusted as the party of smaller government, less spending, and high ethical standards. Neither the reality nor the perception will change until the old rudderless Republican leadership is replaced by a new generation of bold, limited government Conservatives.
The people like Boner who lead the GOP into the political wilderness are not the people to lead them out!
It is time for a new generation to take over. It is time for Mike Pence, Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, and Paul Ryan to step up and take the GOP and the nation back on the right track.

Boehner is a true Conservative, and not the country club politician you say he is. And his district voted heavy for McCain/Palin ticket. Boehner was instrumental in exposing and eliminating ACORN from the Bailout, or did you forget. I feel you are being unfair to Boehner. We should not be going around, willy nilly, spreading lies about people that we know nothing about.

Republicans will "stand firmly against policies that violate our principles."When you squandered half your troops in the wrong battle your next move is not futile grandstanding. You fall back, regroup, and rebuild your army with the hope that through hard work and dedication you can recover your right to be proud of yourself. But you have a lot of hard work to do before you can look us in the eye again.

Ron Paul has got to be laughing his ass off over this. He predicted all of this during the debates and primaries. He specifically mentioned that the GOP was losing support because they haven't cut gov't and spending and was laughed at by the other jokers.

Mike Pence should run for leader’s post, not conference chair, I heard that Boehner on (pre-emptively) supported him for this spot because he was afraid (Pence) and the House Conservaitves would oust him for his obviously ineffective leadership! He should be scared, if not Pence we need a member (not Ryan or Cantor as they have “sold out”-Check their records) who has been a hard-core both fiscal and social conservative..
Go no activsts..!

There are a half dozen or more conservative associations, which publish their ratings of Congress. I don’t know Boehner because I’m, obviously, not from his congressional district but before I’d bad-mouth him, I’d check his “conservative” ratings with those various groups!

Wow, smaller, less intrusive government, finally. Where the hell was he when the Republicans were in charge?

I guess I’m going to be one of the few who will speak in favor of the incompetent and ineffectual Rep. Boehner. He and his leadership cohorts have done a remarkable job of wrecking the GOP in the last few years.
As I believe that the absolute best outcome for conservatives is for a third party to replace the corrupt, inept, generally useless and only occasionally conservative GOP, how could I do anything other than support Rep. Boehner? With his leadership, such as it is, it won’t be long until the GOP is polling in the single digits and is about as relevant as the Women’s Temperance party.
Keep up the good work, Rep. Boehner! Incompetence such as yours is a treasure for those of us who look forward to a conservative political party in the future.

Boehner wrote that during an Obama presidency, Republicans will "stand firmly against policies that violate our principles."Please. They couldn't even get anything done when they had a lock on the whole deal for six years. Forgive me if I have no faith (or respect) for these yahoos anymore.
