“They want to have oil and gas drilling in some of the most sensitive, fragile lands in Utah,” Podesta said. “I think that’s a mistake.”
I look forward to freezing myself to death in the name of The Messiah.
"So if somebody wants [use electricity to stay warm in winter or cool in summer], they can; its just that it will bankrupt them because theyre going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas thats being emitted.
"That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches.
"So if somebody wants to [use electricity], they can. Its just that it will bankrupt them.

Here in northeast Arkansas, where our rural electric cooperative has the highest rates in the state, we have already vowed to keep our thermostat on 50 degrees this winter. It will be “chilly” but we’ve stocked up on fleece and plan on layering. I also have wrapped our water heater in a thermal “blanket” form Lowe’s, and I turn off the breaker each afternoon around 4:30. We can still wash the dinner dishes and get a morning shower before turning the breaker back on. Just doing our part to thwart The One’s plans to bankrupt us, and hoping this plan works.
