This has to be one of the best things I have read concerning this election. If only I could save it and read it, say 1-2 years from now...
To: Chet 99
What a great article. How is it now that the elections are over that the overseas media has opened their eyes to the Fauxbama?

really dont see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.Welcome to the Pepsi O-Cult generation.

But conservatives all over the world must not give up!
It’s not all over!
American people is still a sensible conservative people for a few years....
The OBAMA’s coup(stolen election)was made possible only by GWBUSH’s AND McCAIN’s weaknesses...
It will be a hard time worth fighting for freedom and founding christian values

What a great article. How is it now that the elections are over that the overseas media has opened their eyes to the Fauxbama? It probably did all along, I've read similar reports throughout the election. However much of it is filtered through the red media at home. So...nada...just nada gets through.
We'vebeen had by an open socialist coupe. It remains to be seen how we as a people deal with the tyrannists who have now pulled off a bloodless revolution.

This is by far the best analysis of the election and it's expected aftermath that I've read to date. Sometimes it takes the prospective of someone who is detached from a situation to really see the significance of an event. As someone from Great Britain who has seen what political correctness, multiculturalism, and uncontrolled immigration can do to the moral compass of a country, Peter Hitchens seems uniquely qualified to discuss Obama’s election.

These strengths had been fading for some time, mainly due to poorly controlled mass immigration and to the march of political correctness. They had also been weakened by the failure of Americas conservative party the Republicans to fight on the cultural and moral fronts. They preferred to posture on the world stage. Scared of confronting Left-wing teachers and sexual revolutionaries at home, they could order soldiers to be brave on their behalf in far-off deserts. And now the US, like Britain before it, has begun the long slow descent into the Third World. How sad. Where now is our last best hope on Earth? There is no hope left on earth, save Christ returning. That was probably God's plan all along.

Absolutely THE best. The author really captures the impact the Obama regime is going to have on our nation for years to come. I would only disagree about the descent into Third World status. I don’t think it’ll be permanent, because enough people are going to wake up in 2010 and slap a mid-term electoral shackle on this madness.

WOW! What a read and this guys is dead-on. Especially the paragraph:
They preferred to posture on the world stage. Scared of confronting Left-wing teachers and sexual revolutionaries at home, they could order soldiers to be brave on their behalf in far-off deserts. And now the US, like Britain before it, has begun the long slow descent into the Third World. How sad. Where now is our last best hope on Earth?
The typical Rockefeller country club republican is a disaster, shows cowardice in the face of conflict, sees "compromise" as the highest value and needs to be purged from the party. PRINCIPLED Conservatives MUST take over. We'd better get ready to fight or this guys prophecy of a slow descent will be true. I'm not ready to concede yet!
