Obama’s campaign was so savvy to Web2.0. They’re all over YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc... even Ravelry. And I mean *all* over. McCain’s absence just made him look out of touch. Obama also put together better graphic design materials. ‘Make your own avatar’- type stuff *everywhere*. Web2.0 was absolutely saturated. I daresay, old-style forums like FR, with its mid-90’s format is for Web1.0 fogies. The next candidate is going to have to conquer that divide.
