No news is good news is right.
If the exit polls showed a big lead for O they's be splashed all over the place.

I think it’s interesting that there is no exit poll info being released in the MSM. Weren’t the Kerry “leads” being reported by this time? (2:40PM ET)

This is the first exit poller I have ever seen. (I voted for Bush 41, and every election since.) We do get the guy that wants you to vote this way or that most of the time, but today it was the exit poller there.

Well, I was working the polls four yrs ago, and had no access to TV/radio. But I remember noticing that a steady stream of Dems arrived all happy (and I wondered why at the time) around 3pm. So the exit poll data must have been released around 2pm.
Gosh, FR is slow today. Takes me a minute or two to navigate from thread to thread.
