I have been told several times that i look like Sarah Palin when I wear my glasses and put my hair up. (I take that as a huge compliment)
This morning when I went to go vote in Madison, Wisconsin, I wore a red shirt, my glasses, and put my hair up in my silent support of the McCain/Palin ticket. The exit pollers were at the door trying to talk to as many people as they could, with the exception that they noticably avoided me as I left after voting.
I thought this was an interesting show of just how biased the exit polls really are.
No exit pollers at my voting site (PA). Just an obama table with free coffee and donuts...
NO YOUNG PEOPLE AT MY VOTING SITE AT ALL. All middle aged white people... line wrapped around the building. 12 voting machines. Took me just over an hour in line...
I'm going to do the same thing tonight. I'm going to vote on the way home and not turn the TV or computer on until about 8 or 9PM. Then we'll see.
Also no young people at my voting place.
Well, except me.
Come to think about it, I’m 35... I’m not really the “youth” vote anymore...
Are you a female?
We should have all worn Clinton buttons when we went to vote. Or you could have worn an Obama button and watched their expression when you said you voted for McCain. I tried to get an Obama yard sign for the local nutcase. Unfortunately none of the Democrat offices I checked had one. I thought an Obama sign in his yard would have changed a few lib minds. Of course, McCain has WV so it wasn’t necessary.
Call and talk to everyone you know who may be a after work or evening voter too just ignore all news and exit polls.
Tell them to VOTE no matter what and tell them to pass this message on.
VOTE!!!!!
I noticed an exit poll taker as I was leaving the polls I am obviously not going to help her “numbers” any so she did nothing more than say hello to me. On the other hand she did stop the older woman that was near me and spoke to her. She had also stopped another person as I was driving by. Not that I would have answered her questions, I just thought it was interesting how the polls were being taken.
I am a 21 year old woman.
We certainly hope so!
Voters are under no obligation to speak to an exit poller, or what’s the sense of a SECRET BALLOT?? Tell them that. Good grief. The liberals think they are entitled to all of our information, all our secret thoughts, all our motives. It’s time to turn off the spigot of information we know they will eventually find a way to use against us. Tell the exit pollers your ballot is a secret between you and God.
Funny thing. People say I resemble John McCain. However, since I am only 57 and stand 6’5”, I don’t quite know how to take those comments.
I got home that night around 9pm and turned on FNC. I learned what had happened with the false exit polling; and I felt sorry for all those Dems who had been mislead by their leaders.
“Are you a female?”
“We certainly hope so!”
Me too.
(Not that cross-dressing is bad or anything like that...)
Proposed new FR initiative:
Anyone who says they look like Sarah Palin would be required by law to post their picture!
Mr. Robinson???
Might get some honest results from your precinct.
They are not supposed to talk to as many as they can. It’s strictly every Nth person, where N depends on the size of the precinct.
I read through the reports after ‘04, where the exit pollsters figured out that the young kids they hired screwed up the process, esp at larger precincts, and landed up talking mostly to people who were friendly with them (more likely to be Kerry people who wanted to chat w/ students/hippies).
I was armed w/ the facts when having to argue with people who insisted that the exit polls were “right” while the “machines” changed votes to rob the election from President Kerry ...
LOL!!
” Proposed new FR initiative:

I second the motion.
How early did the first exit polls in 2004 come out? Cause it’s 2:30 and sofar NOTHING! I’m not trying to get my hopes up, but I say that today no news is good news regarding exit polls!
