A McCain-Palin administration would promote energy independence while the Obama-Biden team would blow that task, Republican Sarah Palin said Monday night.
The Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee made a bid for votes in Reno, also promising lower taxes, before heading to Elko for another appearance. Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the GOP nominee, spoke at Henderson, making it a GOP full-court press in the Silver State on the eve of election day.
"We'll tap into what we've already got," Palin promised a full-throated throng of supporters shouting "drill, baby drill" at a GOP "Road to Victory Rally" in the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center.
"You bet we will drill, baby drill and mine, baby mine," McCain's running mate said. She said McCain will promote oil, natural gas and clean coal technology via American ingenuity to create American jobs. She also criticized Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee, charging he has said his policies would bankrupt the coal business.
Promising reform, she said Obama wants to spend and raise taxes while McCain will curb spending, lower taxes and spur growth of small business because it is the nation's backbone. She thanked Joe the plumber once again while charging Obama wants to spread the wealth. She said the McCain-Palin ticket prefers to spread opportunity.

Obamites don’t want jobs; they don’t want to drill for energy independence, for natural gas to heat their homes.
They want a free ride. They want US to pay for imported gas and LNG to heat their homes. Plus, sitting at home eating government cheese isn’t enough. They want free day care for their pre school age chillin’s so they can go play bingo while their older chillin’s is in school.
While some Obamites like Obama’s word for word copy of Gore-bull warming environmentalism, they have no intention at all of actually returning to the “grand” old days of growing their own food on Obama state collective garden plots. That is work. In fact that is HARD work! Whitey work.
They will just pick up their weekly entitlement at the food bank, thank you very much. And it better be top quality food too. They can’t be expected to eat tomatoes with flaws on them, misshaped potatoes, crooked carrots, that aren’t even processed! What do you think they are, second class citizens?
No, they expect the “rich” -those who work hard to better themselves, invest their hard earned money and make it work for them and provide additional income-to pay more taxes so they can get larger government checks, and free health care, which is a RIGHT!
Surely they can’t be expected to take care of themselves so they don’t get sick. As Rev Wright would say Oh No No No No! God DAMN America for not treating the lazy and listless with no ambition to work like royaly. It is OWED to them!
