Election Day specials: Free coffee, doughnuts, ice cream

Americans will pick a new leader for the country today - and will be able to pick up free coffee, ice cream and other goodies too.

Starbucks Corp. is offering a free cup of brewed coffee to anyone who asks today, while Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. is giving away star-shaped doughnuts. Ice cream maker Ben and Jerry’s is offering a free scoop as part of a celebration of the election.

Seattle-based Starbucks had originally planned to give away the “tall” brewed coffees to anyone who reported that they voted, saying in an ad: “If you care enough to vote, we care enough to give you a free cup of coffee.”

Think about it...Liberals are coffee shop attendees, just like the Commie rats known as (fat) Ben and Jerry’s.

It is to remind the LSD-forgetful to vote, nothing more.

Note, Bank of America wasn’t giving out free dollars.

Beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Oh, wait. That’s the Kenyan elections.

Yeah, me, too, only not Starbucks. I think their coffee is nasty.

I will be there for the free donut at Krispy Kreme, though. Being nervous sends me straight for the carbs. Perhaps I’ll induce a sugar coma and wake up when it’s all over. Not a bad idea.

My stereotype of the coffee shop attendee, at least here in the Bay Area is a maggot hippie.

I go to Starbucks, too, but am not a coffee shop person.

No offense.

For Obamanauts may I suggest a scoop of red ice cream with sickle and hammer shaped chocolate bits?

In honor of an Obama victory they should make half the room pay for the snacks of the other half...

I don’t take handouts from liberal-run, overvalued, anti-American pieces of sh1t. I wouldn’t toss Krispy Kreme in there but I don’t know enough about them to do so. But Starbucks and Ben and Jerry’s can shove MY cup of coffee and my free scoop of ice cream up their one-square wiping asses.

Never set foot in a Starbucks or had their coffee, and god willing, I never will.
