Young is a very intelligent, thoughtful man and former celebrity who does not choose to use that celebrity to grandstand about political issues,
And yet he allows "No on 8" signs to be plastered all over his house and lets his wife drop $50,000 of his money on the "No on 8" campaign. Yes, HIS money. Who the hell is she to have that kind of scratch to spend on a political campaign?

His wife. It's their house and their money, as any number of divorce attorneys would be glad to emphasize. Young himself is not publicly endorsing either side of this cause, which is his right and his business.
