Obama's advantage over John McCain is back inside the margin of sampling error, according to SurveyUSA's final look at one of 2008's most interesting states. Obama 49%, McCain 46%, in interviewing underwritten by KSTP-TV in Minneapolis, WDIO-TV Duluth and KAAL-TV Rochester, 10/30/08 through 11/01/08. Obama led by 6 two weeks ago, now by 3. The late break to the GOP is occurring among men and seniors. For each point McCain gains, the better it looks for Republican Norm Coleman's US Senate re-election bid. In 4 pre-election tracking polls, SurveyUSA has never shown Franken ahead. Other pollsters have. The contest is close, fiercely fought, and Franken may in fact win. But in SurveyUSA's final numbers, it's Coleman 44%, Franken 39%. Independence Party candidate Dean Barkley, though down from 19% a month ago to 16% today, is a true spoiler. Barkley's supporters are more likely to be Democrats than Republicans, and more likely to be pro-choice than pro-life. If Barkley's supporters turn-out to vote but at the last instant turn-away from Barkley, Franken may out-perform these numbers. Minnesota's

I am dying a thousand times before my death.
I think McCain will take either MN or WI.
But, but....Gallup just said Obama will have an historic blowout.
Oh man, I can’t wait for Tuesday!
ROFL if McCain wins Minnesota.
Yep. Sure sounds like we are down 11 points nationally. /supersarcasm
FYI. Color me surprised. McCain is closing everywhere.
Throw this one on the pile too. Repeat if McCain only down 3 in MN which may be true, he is ahead nationally. Understand ABC, CNN, Pew, etc?
McCain’s taking PA and at least 1 more rust belt state folks. THe problems Fauxbama has in PA are the exact same problems he’s going to have across the entire rust belt. The loss of PA is not going to be isolated for him.
The very same issues that are going to cost him PA are going on in MN, MI and WI. I fully expect 1 or more of these to go McCain on Tuesday.
Why? With Bradley this is eminently winnable.
"Obama now has a substantial 13-point, 41% to 28% lead over Clinton among likely voters...
Earlier, I picked MN as my “sleeper” pick..
Coleman will beat the jerk
“Color me surprised. McCain is closing everywhere.”
Everywhere but in the Gallup analysis room. Hell, Pew even has Mac closing like crazy (+9 in a week). You listening Gallup, you steenking bastards!?
I realize that. I’m just not a roller-coaster person. LOL
Surprised that McCain is outperforming Coleman. Not surprised opefully Reverend Wright and Obama the Coal Industry Killer drag John over the line ahead of the guy who wants higher energy prices for every American in his captivity.
Could you make that a little bigger?
Can they scream racism if McCain wins in a landslide?
I’ve been saying this for months, Fauxbama is not taking PA, and the problems he has in PA are the same problems he’s having across the rust belt.
Fauxbama losing PA will not be an isolated event, hes going to lose PA and at least 1 more rust belt state.
McCain is banking here because its the biggest plum, and doesn’t have the resources to fight in all of them.. but trust me, Fauxbama has the same problems in MN,MI and WI that he’s got in PA, and I fully expect McCain to take PA handily and at least 1 of those other states as well.
