Normally it is best to avoid questioning a person’s faith, since ultimately only God knows hearts, but I cannot understand how anyone claiming to be a Christian eschews baptism. Baptism is essential to all Christians, even though we may differ as to the method and timing. It is still an essential. Has he ever given a reason for not being baptized?
(I did get the info that BO was not baptized from a friend, so if this is in error, you may disregard everything I said. My kids always do.)

I think Eagleburger might be a charlatan himself claiming to be a McCain supporter. He sure didn’t finesse his opinion of a President Palin very well during a recent NPR interview where he ends by saying “Give her some time in the office and I think the answer would be — she will be adequate. I can’t say that she would be a genius in the job.” Now that is an honest assessment, but it doesn’t help McCain w/ undecideds or people who have doubts because of Palin (and those people do exist) any and gave left wing Palin bashers and the MSM fodder.

Why are you helping to highjack this thread. Look in the dictionary if you don’t understand the definition of “charalatan”. HINT: It isn’t another word for “Christian”. DUH!!
I saw him on this morning - he’s the only one with the _alls to tell the truth.
Between Eagleburger’s adjectives of charlatan v adequate - I’d choose adequate.
To say the top of the rat ticket is a charlatan is pretty damning - and true, of course.
I saw the interview. Steve Doocy said “You’ve called Obama a charlatan. That means con man. Is that the term you meant to use?” Then Eagleburger essentially said yes, it was the term he meant to use and proceeded to give four or five reasonswhy, from hiding his records, to opting out of public finance, to illegal campaign contributions, to ACORN.

The question had to do with Obama as a “quack” Christian, that is, a “charlatan.”
Obama is a charlatan in many ways. My response was to this suggestion. It was not an attempt to hijack this thread.
Immaterial. He has already apologized profusely for “mispeaking” and giving the wrong impression. He’s been making up for it ever since. In fact I videotaped him several times as he attempted to set the record straight.
He was on The Huckabee Show on Fox last night and said, among other effective things, “I want to make this clear - I believe that Obama is a charlatan.”
Then F&F booked him on this morning’s show to ask him about what he had said last night. He not only repeated what he had said, but expanded on it considerably. He still had more to say, but they had to cut away for a hard break.
This is a very effective video which should be sent out far and wide.
The look on Joe the Plumber’s face is priceless.
Where have they been hiding this man. He was great!
Also, look at some of the expressions on the faces in the background.
The “Obama is a long-legged Mack Daddy” preacher is still at it. He cracks me up!
It’s not completely immaterial because the KOSsacks and MSM are using it against McCain, and you betcha they are not adding any clarifications or apologies Eagleburger made after-the-fact. Look I like and respect Eagleburger, but you can’t go on a MSM, and especially a NPR, show, and say the things he said not knowing they are going to get twisted beyond recognition. He’s a diplomat. He knows how to finesse things, but he didn’t and it hurt McCain, even if only marginally. That is all I’m saying.

Well Eagleburger is now falling on his sword and deliberately called Obama a charlatan, knowing full well he is going to have to defend that statement to the MSM who are going to come after him big time.
He doesn’t need any of us to join our political enemies by also piling on.
He needs our support, because he’s going to take immense heat for being willing to say what he said.

You got that right. There are a lot of clueless, complacent people in this country who had better wake up - and fast. Eagleburger specifically referred to the fact that we don’t know anything about the “real” Obama, and how dangerous that is.

The Nation of Islam is an outgrowth of the Communist Party in the 1930s. Its goal is the overthrow of “racist” America.
Exactly. Like Reverend Wright’s concocted ‘religion’, it is actually revolutionary communist in its ideology. Both were/are parts of the Black Liberation Movement.
Black Liberation Theology can be packaged as Christian or as Moslem. There is a very close tie between Farrakhan, Wright and Obama. A socialist agenda is one thing, but a Liberation movement is another. “Spread the wealth” takes on a much different meaning.
In my mind, this link is the number one reason why Obama’s expunged history needs to be explored as thoroughly as is possible.
