A Winning Strategy for Obama?

As Barack Obama's candidacy for the Presidency of the United States continues its rapid and historic meltdown, I thought I might offer - free of charge, mind you, because I am a kind-hearted man - some strategic advice to The One, Lord Obama the Munificent, so that he can re-gain some sense of traction and focus in these final few hours of the campaign.

First, a quick perspective on the dizzying developments of the past month ....

As any astute political observer can tell you, the turning point in this Presidential campaign was when Obama approached a humble Ohio plumber, ostensibly to engage in some authentic Middle American give-and-take. However, when Joe the Plumber dared voice his concern about Obama's plan to place onerous tax burdens upon small businesses, Obama's moderate mask cracked and fell off, and all was revealed in Obama's patronizing answer: he just wanted to take Joe's hard-earned money and "spread the wealth around" to other people...other people who would be chosen according to Obama's Big Government criteria.

Overnight, Joe the Plumber became the voice of millions of tax-paying, hard-working, big-dreaming, good-hearted Americans who already do so much to make life better for all of us. However, Senator Obama and his minions did not find their hearts warmed by the encounter, but instead set about immediately to mock, slander, and discredit Joe with a series of mean-spirited and inaccurate allegations and "jokes." And in a sinister move, Democratic Party operatives in Ohio began using state computers and data bases to dig up "dirt" on Joe, aided and abetted by a complicit far Left "mainstream" media machine (aka the "Obamedia").

To say that these ham-fisted efforts have backfired on Senator Obama would be an understatement. Even as McCain found a voice to express the vast differences between his own "grow the wealth for everyone" versus Obama's Socialist ideals, Obama's campaign frantically continued their snide and snobby assault on Joe, and upped the redistributionist ante with statements such as:

* It's selfish for hard working tax-payers to want to avoid even higher taxes (Obama)

* 95% of Americans will get a "tax-cut" even though 40% don't actually pay taxes (Obama)

* Everyone making less than under $250,000 will not see their taxes raised, wait, make that $200,000 ... or maybe it's $150,000, or ... hello ... $120,000...can I get a $42,000? And, of course, if you're a small business, you should also do your "patriotic duty" and pony up. (Obama, Obama, Biden, Richardson, Obama)

* Let's cut 25% of military spending immediately in the middle of two wars, and also quit worrying about the national debt so that we can have an additional $350 billion government bailout (Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi)

When a Florida news reporter had the audacity to ask Joe Biden if Obama's policies were socialist or even similar to Marxist in philosophy, Biden petulantly snorted and the news station was banished from further contacts with the campaign. Tapes surfaced of Obama's close friend and longtime ally, the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, calling himself an anarchist and Marxist. And then, an April L.A. Times article re-emerged detailing a dinner party with Obama, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, and former PLO spokesman Rashid Kahlidi where anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements were made. (What ... Rev. Wright, Father Pflegar, ACORN, and Louis Farrakhan weren't available that night?)

As the Obamedia onslaught against Joe the Plumber continued, fair-minded and decent American workers felt compelled to speak out. Tito the Construction Worker in Virginia asked the media why they were investigating Joe the Plumber more thoroughly than they were Barack Obama. An Iraqi War Veteran, Joe Cook, produces a short, but powerful message to Obama explaining how Obama is terribly out of touch with reality with regards to the price of freedom; the video becomes the most popular video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG4fe9GlWS8.

These voices in support of Senator McCain have been highly effective; they represent Americans from all walks of life giving heartelt, unvarnished, and authentic messages. These are the Arizona Senator's kind of people, and their association with the McCain/Palin campaign has brought great focus, identity, and clarity ... by these associations, we can know more about who Senator McCain really is.

THEREFORE, given the great success that McCain's campaign has enjoyed as a result of McCain's supporters speaking out, I would recommend that the Obama Campaign consider a similar strategy ... put forth short video testimonials from some of Senator Obama's allies and associates: William the Unrepentant Terrorist, Tony the Slumlord, Jeremiah the Racist Preacher, Rashid the PLO Spokesman, Chris the Thrilled-Legged-Anchorman, ACORN the Vote Fraud Gang, Saul the Socialist, the West Hollywood Palin Lynchers, Pflegar the Radical Priest, Farrakhan the Militant Muslim, NARAL the Pro-Abortion Extremist Cadre, Bernadine the Sirhan Sirhan Admirer, Joe the Plagerizer, and other Obama supporters. I think the "common touch" provided by these genuine Obama friends might be just the thing to help American voters truly understand Senator Obama better.

After all, you are known by the company you keep, so what's Barack afraid of?

Obama is afraid of the Little Guy he purports to care about. He does not want Americans to know who he is and the kind of change he wants to bring to America. Most Americans have awoken from his mesmerizing spell. Let's hope they prevail on Nov. 4th.
