You should immediately contact the HR department and request a copy of all your performance evaluations and specific, written documentation on your dismissal. Often, that kind of request alone can put the fear of God into a company re wrongful termination lawsuits and you may have a job back- that, or a nice severance package.

Agree — Lisa should get copies of her “file” — what she is really looking for here is a settlement agreement with severance. Most likely she and the company would agree it best that she not return to that office. But the severance and unemployment would be really good and she deserves that.
