If the folks that own a store downtown, USA have any sense, they will either take their inventory elsewhere … or purchase massive amounts of insurance.

Pray for cold, rain, sleet and snow for Tuesday in Chicago.

Bad weather is good weather to prevent real problems from coming down on Tuesday.

I’ll be in Chicago. If it looks like McCain is winning, I’m going out there and snapping pictures to document what 1 million crying people look like.

We’ll have our own riots to deal with here in Milwaukee

Sorry to hear that. I went to medical school in Milwaukee 1975-79 and it was safe then.

Now that I think of it, I should delete Tennessee on my list above and substitute Kentucky.

They need to change the name of Grant Park to ‘Who-ville’. Then, next Tuesday night, all the Whos down in Who-ville can go ‘Boo Hoo Hoo!’

LOL!!! -- Conservatives will look deep into their heart and will win!

I'll be watching quietly from these old north Georgia mountains as the O gives his concession speech and the flames start.

“So what are they going to do if Obama loses?”

You didn’t ask me, but I highly doubt they’ll be fair or balanced. Obama played the race card over and over and over again...and those who are his fellow racists will react as all racists do...and that means dangerous and ugly.

I don’t believe there will be riots if Obama loses.

Obama supporters will be too depressed.

If he wins there will be trouble.

I am deeply concerned too - especially for our major cities. If O wins - celebration riots in the cities (an excuse to destroy private property because their guy/they are in control). Not just that - celebrations, flag burnings, and gunshots in muslim communities all over the world. Even Israel may have to be on alert on Tuesday.

Overall the city proper is still pretty safe...it’ll be the northwest side bleeding down towards the city proper that will be ugly.

I see the humor in your comment, but I would advise against going anywhere near that place.

We’ll have our own riots to deal with here in Milwaukee.

There are days when I'm glad Mayor Maier built the moat just west of Washington Park.

Doesn’t look like there’s much fight in that group. But I’ll bet that the bitching will be world class when Bambi falls short of the prize come Tuesday...

Interesting perspective, ChiMark. But I have a feeling this is one of those “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situations. I think there could be trouble no matter which way it goes.

At least there will be something on TV for us rural dwellers to watch into the wee hours.

I hope we are both wrong but...

I keep thinking of the riots in LA after the basketball championship a couple of years ago. And the Lakers were the winners!!
