Why do people apologize, or kind of apologize, when they post vanity’s?

Especially in the last month or so, some of the best posts have been vanities. This is a good one. Going too far that direction, though, will burn a lot of bandwidth for posts which could degenerate in a hurry.

Probably the kind of person who is sick of the in-your-face sullen cashier at the grocery store who sports the Obama/Biden button every day. That would be the reason if I did it.

I was in Fred Meyer the other day and they had a rack of political t-shirts. I could see a Sarah Palin shirt peeking out from the very back of the rack that was angled toward a counter. You could miss it if you weren’t looking carefully. And of course, there was an Obama t-shirt right out front in full view. When I passed by going the other direction a few minutes later, someone had put the Sarah Palin t-shirt right out in front of the Obama one. LOL. Wish I’d thought of that at the time.

I think this is election derangement syndrome. If these were anti McCain sentiments the headline would be “OBama thugs vandalize Albertsons grocery store”!
