Soros and Buffet (I’m assuming) were in about 3:15 ET to push the market lower, but they couldn’t keep it down. Still closed off its highs though.
That’ll tighten some asses in Camp Obamarama.
Means money is having some faith in a McCain win.

So you're saying that the news about the campaign has been postitive about McCain in the last 24 hours?
Our bottom was the low 8000s, jmo, which we may visit again and soon , too many panic sellers these days. Just wait until we see 2,000 points swings and more in a single sessions.. Just elect Obama.. (just kidding .. or was I?)

Wall Street getting the idea about a McCain win.
These “tightening” polls are doing wonders for the market.
Volume was light which probably means that there wasn’t much conviction behind today’s rise. People are probably waiting to see what happens with the election.

I don’t care what anyone says, the market seems to do better when there is good news for Mac. All of the numbers that came out this week were suppose to be a negative, but turns out we are up this week.
The damage has been done, the only reason the market goes up and down now is because of fear of Obama.
Buy low sell high. This was like having a sale at Macys. Hope everyone bought heavy.
WE'RE NOT VERY OBJECTIVE.
1) Every market rise must be evidence that McCain is probably going to win, and every Market dip is caused by fear of an O Presidency.
2) Every bad poll result is "special sauce" and every good result is finally bending toward accuracy.
3) Every formerly conservative pundit is a sell out if he thinks O will probably win.
4) Every contrarian post is a troll.

I hope they get screwed trying to pull that on Monday because they will be trying.
I loved how Porsche AG screwed dozens of hedge fund who had been shorting VW AG. Porsche quietyly bought billions of VW announced it and the hedge funds panicked and drove VW stock up by 3 times or more.
Porsche made about $7 billion in a day. The slimy hedge funds screamed foul.
You have not been here long enough to comment on what FR represents... you have to earn that right.
