(Lindsey) Graham Targets Democratic Voters
Charleston City Paper ^ | October 30, 2008

Posted on 10/30/2008 8:19:51 PM PDT by Clintonfatigued

A Democratic voter passed on a mailer he got from Lindsey Graham yesterday and it looks like a piece of mail targeted at Democratic voters.

“An independent voice. Reaching across party lines,” it reads (his bold, not mine).

Inside, it says that Graham “isn’t afraid to speak his mind,” and that “he has the courage to stand firm, even when it’s not popular, and reach across party lines to solve tough problems.”

That’s followed by the line, “A leader we can ALL trust.” (Again, his emphasis, not mine).

)(*&^%$#@ RINO!!!!!!!!!!

I’m reluctant to cheer for a Republican defeat in the general election, but this is the one exception this year. The Democrat (Bob Conley) is a former Republican who has supported Pat Buchanan and, in many respects, is more conservative. State Libertarians are doing what they can for Conley’s candidacy.

The best warning shot that can be delivered to McCain (to put him on notice should he misbehave and try to stab conservatives in the back again) is to eject his amnesty-loving cheerleader Lindsey Graham from the Senate chambers.

He’s prancing about, campaigning for McCain — I heard him on Blabbity’s radio show on the campaign trail for McCain.

I haven’t heard if he’s wearing a skirt, LOL.

What is the point of Conley’s conservatism if, as a Democrat, he’s going to caucus with Democrats thus helping Reid, Pelosi, and possibly Obama to [insert all the anti-American things Democrats do]?

Lindsey Graham is the perfect example of what a RINO is. Someone who ignores and insults The GOP base, even going so far as throwing race-baiting bombs at us by calling us bigots. I hope this turd that speaks with a lisp loses hard!

That depends on whether he could be persuaded to join the GOP side.

Lindsey Graham has been on the campaign trail with McCain. I think that story doesn’t tell the whole story.

I think that story doesn’t tell the whole story.

We're tired of this shi-th-ead, the whole story is much worse.

Lindsey will win with 80% of the GOP vote and a large chunk of crossover Dems.

I will cast a protest vote for Conley.

In other words, he’s targeting his base.

Buh-bye Lindseed.

“he has the courage to stand firm...and reach across party lines to solve tough problems.”

Ten years ago during the impeachment trial and he couldn’t even get that right. He’s one of the top RINOs who goes out of his way to thumb Republicans/Conservatives in the eye. He needs to go.

I probably wouldn’t vote for him without knowing for absolute certain when push comes to shove he will not support rat senate organization. He should come out and say it, that might give him the win, if black Obama voters don’t cause they vote for the D. I’m glad I don’t have to make the choice.

I looked in what the Dummies think, they’re for Conley. Granted they are by nature stupid fools but they hate Graham just as we do for different reasons. LOL Poor Linds.

“Lindseed”

The Mayor from the old Batman show? LOL. I like Lindsay LoGraham.

Seeing McCain get the nomination and perhaps become president, there’ll never be any mending of MiniMac’s squishy ways.

I do not believe that he will caucus with either party. He is a Jeffersonian style candidate who care about his people. We need a senator that will listen to his constituents instead of calling us bigots when we do not agree with them. Conley is running with very little funding (he does not have the millions that Lindsey accumulated from donations from special interest groups). I know Conley in person. He is what we need in Washington.. I am a conservative, small government and family values voter that will jump the aisle to vote for Conley!! I hope that conservatives that do not agree with Lindsey Grahams possitions will give him a chance! We do not need RINOs in Washington, they have done enough damage as it is.

You ‘do not believe he will caucaus with either party’? If that were so, then why didn’t he run as an independent instead of running with a party led by Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, and now Obama?

If you were a conservative, would you run as a Democrat? Yes or no?

What if you were a liberal pretending to be a conservative in a conservative area?
