The clerk is an idiot as each of these searches is cataloged. If she accessed a database she wasn’t supposed to except in relation to official business, she’s toast.

FYI...I am a TPD retiree. Mike Navarre (Chief) is a good man. If she broke rules and regs she better “lawyer-up” quickly. Mike will let the investigation go forward and then will take the appropriate action. Everyone knows accessing a LEADS computer is a dumb thing to do. If she worked in Investigative Services, the Captain in charge will not tolerate that type of behavior. I worked with most of the upper-echelon of the TPD when they were patrolman. To a man, I think they are honorable and fair. She will find that she is going to be out of work rather quickly.
As an aside, I heard she was checking for 13 ABC. The good thing for Joe, if that was the station involved, it is owned by the network which means immediately after the settlement Joe and his son will be going to Disneyworld all expenses paid....for the rest of their lives.
