The five-pointed red star, a pentagram without the inner pentagon, is a symbol of communism as well as broader socialism in general. It is sometimes understood to represent the five fingers of the worker's hand, as well as the five continents. A lesser known suggestion is that the five points on the star were intended to represent the five social groups that would lead Russia to communism: the youth, the military, the industrial labourers, the agricultural workers or peasantry, and the intelligentsia. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels used the red star as a symbol[citation needed]. It was also one of the emblems, symbols, and signals representing the Soviet Union under the rule and guidance of the Communist Party, along with the hammer and sickle. The star has since become a symbol. Check out his store. It's everyone in obama's logos. I also wonder about his trademark” the “O” filled with the flag motif, which is on the floor, and the rising sun, which is the symbol of China.

Besides, what other candidates actually have a logo?

The five-pointed red star, a pentagram without the inner pentagon, is a symbol of communism as well as broader socialism in general.

And Obama's buddy Bill Ayers, a self-described "small-c communist," flaunts his red-star pin as a fashion accessory.

From a 12/9/2002 NYT story about his son (adopted with consent of his biological jailed domestic terrorist parents):

"A red-star revolutionary pin on his jacket, his Weatherman tattoo (and 17 others) hidden from sight, Mr. Ayers smiled as he watched his adopted son, fresh from his Rhodes interview, in the suit that Ms. Dohrn had helped pick."

And most recently he sports the red star pin on his shirt, in a video of this week's O'Reilly's talking points segment (in which a young Fox reporter does an excellent job of politely harassing a domestic terrorist who repeatedly bombed police stations, who now, in monumental irony, calls the police to protect from the dreaded Fox News boogeyman.)

I don't remember seeing that red star logo before, so I wonder if it is now unveiled because the Dems believe they've got this all wrapped up, and don't need to hide it any more. Obama ZEN?

If he wins, it's a sign this country doesn't want to live any more. I expect the attack on the 2nd Amendment will be one of the first things on the agenda.

“The five-pointed red star....”

Remarkable. And alarming.

I find it humourous of your efforts to post Obamas “red star” in his compaign propanganda means he’s secretly a communist at heart.

Humourous, not at you but because if all his votes, all his promises, his associates and supporters and hints of “sharing the wealth” comments don’t already speak volumes about WHO he is.

But thinking by pointing out he has a red star in his leaflets is the secret to collapsing his media driven empire has borders on tinfoil city.

Face it. The media isn’t doing it’s job and anybody undecided at this late date about what Obama stands for never will.

And posting here is speaking to the choir...

And what do those five-pointed white stars in your image, without the inner pentagon, symbolize?
