Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher became part of the national political lexicon Oct. 15 when Republican presidential candidate John McCain mentioned him frequently during his final debate with Democrat Barack Obama.
The 34-year-old from the Toledo suburb of Holland is held out by McCain as an example of an American who would be harmed by Obama's tax proposals.

Marxism sucks.
I knew somebody who work for a Fed law enforcement agency and peeking at those computer files was strictly forbidden. Somebody needs to go to jail for this.
The Obamanation has to be tickled to death that Joe the Plumber was a white guy. Because that gives them carte blanche to trash him, investigate him, do whatever they want to demean and belittle him. Had he been black, a woman, or another ‘protected class’ they might actually have to deal with the consequences of Obama’s “spread the wealth around” answer rather than do their best to kill the messenger.
Fortunately, Joe’s a pretty tough messenger and gives back as good as he gets, and he’s already had a major impact on this election. After all, we have precedent for great things from common blue collar working guys - remember a carpenter about 2000 years ago?
Hopefully Joe will come out of this stronger than before, and that the experience will have changed his life for the better.
