The credit card of a television anchor woman left in critical condition after a brutal beating in her home was used in the minutes following the attack.

Anne Pressly's credit card was used at a Shell gas station near her Little Rock, Ark., home between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday morning, an attendant told America's Most Wanted.

Shell station clerk Shiva Reddy told FOX16.com that police did visit the station at Interstate 30 and 9th Street on Tuesday to request surveillance video from early Monday morning, in the hours around the time Pressly was brutally beaten.

She's related to a FReeper. (Not me). I hope "justice" happens when he resists arrest. There's nothing the courts would ever do to him that would meet my definition of "justice".

It is probably just a random attack, but I couldn’t help thinking about it happening after the movie “W” opened in Little Rock.

Her friends were reporting back to her about how Ann Pressly did in her small part in the movie, playing a conservative commentator...Ann Coulter?

I think she may have just recently become the anchor on Little Rock television station KATV’s morning show too.

Such a horrible and sad thing to happen. My prayers continue to be with her, her family, and her doctors. God bless her to a complete, successful recovery.

Justice served: Several years ago my older brother was a work during a holdup. The perp shot him once in the chest with a .32, he died instantly.

After the investigation the police determined who had shot my brother. It took three more years to catch him. (here’s the part I like), the police had him cornered in a parking garage and rather then be taken he shot himself in the head with the same weapon he had used to murder my older brother.

This is the east end of LR...worst part of town, gang problem for yrs but improved I'd heard; these perps were returning home. They will find these guys. I guarantee it because it's a small town and the bad actors are notorious making it hard to hide for very long. I'm really impressed with how the LRPD and media have done so well guarding the case details/protecting the privacy of Ms Pressly. This was chilling, unfathomable violence that just doesn't happen in LR. Not to a girl like her in a neighborhood like that.

It is impressive. I’m thankful they are able to handle it so well. Hope they catch the perps soon.

I’ll be glad when Ann is well enough to give them details that will perhaps help them bring those perps to justice.

People tend to think when something such as this happens to someone like her with whom they are so familiar, that it can happen to anyone and their children...and, it can.
