McCain is still down, but he has really sliced into 0's prior lead in NH. Actual results will be released later today.

0's lead in IA is now down to single digits.

Scott’s Polls are about 4% off.

IIRC, I just read somewhere that McCain gained 3 points, Obama lost 3 points, and McCain is still 3 points back...

All this, and Rasmussen wants us to believe his national numbers have increased. LOL.

Those four electoral votes could be very important. I hope NH turns red again.

I’ll be shocked if NH doesn’t go McCain, no state has had more face time with a candidate than NH and McCain that I can think of, the guys spent 8 years working hard there.

IA, IA is all about the people of IA realising the danger of a Fauxbama administration is greater than the free check they get for farm subsidies. If they realize this IA will vote McCain, otherwise they’ll vote for subsidies. That’s why McCain is losing IA, has nothing to do with Fauxbama.

Well heck, maybe Obama will win the popular vote by 6%, and lose the electoral college, by getting huge monster majorities in Kerry states, cutting Bush margins in red states, and coming just short in the contested battlegrounds.

If that happens, I’d say we’ll have some riots for sure.

I personally think IA is a lost cause due to the ethanol subsidy issue.

I've lost all confidence in Iowa. All that state is about is which politician can bring the promises of more farm subsidies. This is not a slam against Farmers as I know some down here in my neck of the woods. But I also know they don't base their vote solely on that criteria.

Popular vote? What is that? Last I heard we did not have a national popular vote contest.

Lucky for us, those riots will be contained to the bluest areas of the blue states.
Just stay out of the urban areas for a few days until they’re done burning themselves down.

Will never happen. If you win the GE by 3 points or more, you’ve won the EV as well. Period, end of story

Excellent. The riots would happen in the bluest of blue districts. They need some urban renewal.

As long as they are blue state riots, I couldn’t care less.

A possible scenario:

McCain loses IA, CO, and NM

McCain holds VA, NC, and NV

McCain flips NH and the 2nd District of ME

270 Electoral Votes and the White House.

“Those four electoral votes could be very important. I hope NH turns red again.”

Maybe their state motto, “Live free or die” is hitting home with the prospect of Obama winning.

No, he won’t win the popular vote.
(You have to win the popular vote within about 1% to have a chance of losing the EC vote)

He’ll lose the popular vote, and the election, and those who have been told that 0bama is 10 points up going in will have a reason to riot over a “stolen election”.
