The California Republican Party is offering a $500 reward for any information on a woman who stole a McCain/Palin campaign sign near Sacramento.

Video of the woman in action is posted on youtube.

The video shows the woman jump out of the van, yank the sign out of the ground then take off and head back to the van.

The homeowner set up cameras to catch neighborhood dogs who were using his yard as a bathroom.

Maybe the stealer has been waiting and waiting for her own McCain-Palin sign and it just hasn't come...but she wanted to support McCain so strongly, she couldn't help herself from taking the coveted sign so she could proudly display it in her own yard.

Even in my part of south Alabama, McCain signs are disappearing. Still have both of mine tho...still waiting on Hubby to cut the grass before placing them! (I would, but he needs to work on the mower and his back has been out for a week now)

Exactly, have you ever changed your vote because of a yard sign? What kind of an idiot? Funny this was on here today. I was driving past a car yesterday & noticed the obama stickers on the back of the car. Then when we stopped at the light I look over & in her (slightly tinted) windows you could see the reflection of a Mccain - Palin sign (one of the blue & white ones) sitting on the front seat. My question, if she didn’t steal it, why would you have that in you car seat & two Obama stickers on the back of your car?
